Joey Vainikolo

Ko Mounga e He Loto te maunga,

Ko Joey Vainikolo ahau.

Malo e lelei, I am the newest member of the Across School Leaders whanau and wanted to introduce myself. I was born and raised in Tamaki Makaurau and moved to Kirikiriroa in 2017. Since moving here I have fallen in love with the people and places of the Waikato. The people here are caring and friendly and the area is rich with stories and natural beauty.

I am currently teaching at Berkley Normal Middle School where I enjoy the whanau feeling within the school and in the surrounding community. I am passionate about building relationships, learning, and mentoring, and applied for this role so that I could do this across our schools. I look forward to working alongside the educators in our Kāhui Ako to achieve their goals.
